SPREE 77
SPREE 77 was a YFC Sponsored and coordinated Spiritual re-emphasis Musical Event, featuring Gwen Murray (from USA), The YFC Singers and a number of groups including New Life. It took place in Durban, Natal and vicinity. The previous year New Life had toured Natal with local YFC director Stuart Lear, and was invited back once again. The main event was held in the Durban City Town Hall.
Theo remembers: We won the Talent Festival prize for the “Best Song”, for “Symbol of Love”.
